Give the correct answer to the question:

Individual insoles are custom-made insoles produced by a physician using thermomolding technology (Orthostop), tailored to the patient's foot with corrections based on identified biomechanical abnormalities. With the use of these insoles, we can restore the shock-absorbing function of the feet, reduce the stress on the knee, hip, and lower back, making them a common choice for colleagues as a relief mechanism for musculoskeletal pathologies. Insoles can also be used preventatively to reduce foot fatigue.

How are individual insoles made?

Firstly, a medical examination is conducted by a doctor who may use a podoscope (a device for diagnosing flat feet) to assess limb length and joint mobility, as well as the condition of the foot's surface tissues. Then, using a medical furnace, the blank is heated until it becomes elastic and is molded to fit the patient's foot, correcting any identified deviations. If limb shortening is determined during the diagnosis, the physician can add a compensatory insert, and angular deformities in the knee joints can also be corrected.

It is important to note that the orthopedic trauma specialist is responsible for both the diagnosis and the manufacturing process.

Characteristics of Orthostop Insoles:

  • Quick production in 20-30 minutes, eliminating the need to wait for 2-3 weeks.
  • Thin base of 2-3 mm, allowing you to use your regular shoes without the need to buy larger sizes.
  • The possibility of adjustments over time.
  • Available in leather or polymer surface options.

Indications:

  • Flatfoot (longitudinal, transverse, combined, hallux valgus, hammer toe deformity of the second toe).
  • Arthritis of the foot, ankle, knee, and hip joints (for unloading and deformity correction).
  • Spinal osteochondrosis (for unloading).
  • Postoperative conditions in the lower limbs and spine.
  • Compensating for limb shortening.
  • Compensating for shortening after joint prosthesis of the lower limbs.
  • Reducing foot and calf fatigue.
  • Prevention of progressive flat feet.

We manufacture insoles starting from size 34.
